*Please tell us a little about yourself.

Well, I'm 24 years old and I am currently attending Full Sail in Orlando, Florida. I have an associates degree in recording arts, an associates degree in game design, and I am currently working towards getting a bachelors degree in game design. I have a passion for games, music, and movies, so those are the types of things that I want to be involved with whenever possible.

*You have experience with voice acting in videogames, can you tell us what some of those games are?

I did all of the new radio voices in Reaction Quake 3 ( http://www.reactionquake3.com/ ) and Banimod for Return To Castle Wolfenstein ( http://bani.anime.net/banimod/ ). Before that, I did my first voice acting work with Tritin Films ( http://www.planetquake.com/tritin-films/ ). They made several machinima films and a few 3d Studio Max films. The best known ones are probably Quad God and Quake: The Movie.

*How was Brain Hotel different from working on other video games?

This was my first time doing the voices for a full game that had a script and interaction with other characters. In a lot of ways, it was like working on the Tritin Films machinima movies. The biggest difference is that movies are linear. With games, things can happen at different times or the same dialogue may be used in lots of different situations, especially in adventure games. So you have to try to make it so that the voices sound appropriate for every situation that they may be used for.

*Do you feel you have anything in common with Ed Arnold?

Yeah... we both hate pennies.

*What attracted you to this project?

I was looking through Shacknews.com one day and saw a headline under the Adventure Gamers news feed on my sidebar saying "Voice-artist sought for Brain Hotel". I clicked on the link to get the details and saw that it was for the lead part in the game. I wasn't really sure what the game was about, but I was rather intrigued. I then played Case of the Crabs and was thoroughly impressed that I was able to play an adventure game from within my browser. And not only that, but it was really funny, animated, and fully voiced. I mean, how cool is that! So that's what really made me want to be a part of this project.

*What were the worst and Best things about the job?

Worst thing: Recording for several hours with the air conditioner turned off in order to decrease noise levels. Best thing: Working with these guys. The script is hilarious and Mark was a real pleasure to work with.

*Is the Hokey Pokey really what it's all About?

I certainly hope so... if not, I'll have to rethink my outlook on life and maybe become a Buddhist monk.

*What are some of your favorite adventure games?

All of the classic Lucas Arts games: all of the Monkey Islands (particularly Curse of Monkey Island), Sam & Max, Full Throttle, the Indiana Jones games, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, etc Most of the classic Sierra games (the ones that I've played)... Quest For Glory, Kings Quest, etc.

*If you had to sum up your total experience in working on Brain Hotel in one word, what would that word be?
